Choti bahu has certainly proved its worth in the Indian television world. Compared to the banal “saas-bahu” theme, this soap has novelty in it. Choti Bahu is the story of an orphan girl called Radhika. An ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, Radhika is an apt example of a perseverant and tenacious young woman, who faces all hurdles of life without fret and fuss. There is this background song with the words “ aadhi aadhi meri saari khushi , muskuraye hi the ki chup ho gayee.” Which denotes Radhika’s happiness is always half. She never gets to enjoy any moment of her life to full. What makes this serial appealing is the glory and eminence of Lord Krishna. He puts Radhika to tests time and again to find out her resolute faith in him and as always she passes all those difficult tests and wins his blessings. In today’s age where people do not have much time for God, this serial has certainly done a titanic job in enhancing peoples faith in the Almighty. To conclude, Choti Bahu is certainly going to make place in everyone’s heart.
